July Fun

It was my cute dad's birthday, and I missed blogging about it because I'm not quite good at this thing yet. My dad is one of the coolest/amazing guys you will ever meet!! He has the best advice. He always makes me feel better when I'm sad. He's always worrying about other people, and how they are doing. He is so compassionate towards others, and I admire that so much. He's an amazing husband to my mom, and father to his kids. He always keeps us laughing!! He knows so much about the gospel, so every time I have a question I ask him. He cares so much about his children, and always makes sure they know it. He's one of my best friends! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! I LOVE YOU!

The cute spongebob that all the kids were fighting over to hit! (and sam)

The kids went swimming, they had a lot of fun!

Washing Sam's car, I had quite an enjoyable time taking pictures.

Relaxing with masks!

Drive in nights! Which usually result in most of us asleep.

Sam's softball games. With his cheerleaders to watch.

The highschool fireworks. The funny part is they started so late we didn't even make it to the fireworks.

The American Fork parade! Where Sam was so proud he broke the wood in half.

Six Flags! So much fun, I love rollar coasters!

The beach

We went to LA, California with our friends Lexi and Billy over the 4th of July. That was so much fun. It was an extremely interesting experience pulling up to our hotel. It had a huge stone fence around it with barbed wire on top. Then we went into our room and who needs room service? They just left us extra popcorn all over the floor. The hairball in the bed was just an added bonus :) Well we got it all pretty much squared away. It was a short trip, but we are thinking we need a new tradition of going with all our friends to the beach every year.

The most amazing dad in the world!

Happy Fathers Day! I seriously have the best dad in the whole world. He is such a funny guy, and one of the most kind, genuine people you will ever meet. I am so blessed to have him as a father. He has always been such a great example. He knows so much about the gospel, and I admire that so much. I always said I would marry someone just like my dad, and I did! I love you dad!! You are one of the best people I know, and I look up to you very much! Hope you had a good fathers day!

Of course I can't forget my father-in-law either! I seriously couldn't have asked for better in-laws. I love them so much! They have accepted me, and helped me fit right in. I love having talks with them, and they make me laugh so hard!! Sam and I have the best parents in the world, and we don't know what we would do without you guys!! We love you!

Yee Haw!

This weekend was a lot of fun. Saturday we had a BBQ and went to Strawberry Days Rodeo. It is always fun getting together with all the newly married group of friends. We walked around the carnival for a bit, and played a few of the rip off games, and of course didn't win anything. Then we headed off to the rodeo in our boots, and hats to get some strawberries and cream.. Sooo good!!

Babysitting fun!!

This past week we got to babysit our cute niece and nephew! We love them so much. They do some of the funniest things! We wish we got to see them more often! The best part of the whole thing was we didn't have to change one single poopy diaper, what a relief!!!

No Longer A Teen..

Well I know I'm really bad at this whole blogging deal. Last Saturday on the 27th of March I turned 20. Of course Sam cracked all sorts of jokes about how he no longer had to raise a teen, and also how I no longer had a curfew :) My birthday was a lot of fun! The day started out with Sam making me french toast. It also happened to be Taylor's birthday party, so we went and visited her and my family. Dayton and I went down the blow up slide quite a few times. I realized how out of shape I really am!! Then we went to the mall, our friend Billy's baseball game, and then to play tennis. I got a women's tennis racket for my birthday, which I'm extremely happy about. Later that night he made dinner for me, and some of our friends. Then we played games. It was a great day, and I have a GREAT husband! I seriously don't know how I got so lucky. I love him more than anything!! Thanks babe for another fun birthday.

I Love My Sissy Meggy!

My sister Megan was in a serious car accident on Wednesday night. She had a skull fracture, and some hemorrhaging. She is in the ICU, but is doing much better! She is making tons of progress. I love my sissy so so much, and we are extremely blessed that she is doing as well as she is. We are so thankful for all of the prayers every single person has sent our way. It's Official :)

I know blogs are for married people, but I'm cheating and starting early. So.. Sam and I are now engaged, and I couldn't be more excited! He proposed on November 2nd, the day before I left to the Marshall Islands. He sang me a Celine Dion song just like he did on our first date, and of course I loved every second of it. Now time is getting really close, and I can't wait. I am the luckiest girl in the world, and I can't wait to be sealed to Sam forever in the Kona, Hawaii Temple on January 15th!
